Demat account डीमैट खाता
An account that holds your shares in electronic form.

How it is used in the lessons
Depositories (NSDL and CDSL): hold your shares electronically in your demat account.
Buy on Monday: the shares reach your demat account on Tuesday (T+1), if you have paid.
Rights entitlements (REs) are credited to your demat account before the issue opens.
